DISCLAIMER:

Let me get this out of the way… I am not on Fine Paint’s of Europe’s payroll nor am I an employee of Fine Paints of Europe. I’m an independent contractor. Other than hiring me to perform some retail consultations ,Fine Paints of Europe and I are not legally bound. We are two separate entities including the information that we provide. My consultations are my good, bad and sometimes ugly contractor experiences that I share. Another words, I ultimately share my successes with you from what I’ve personally learned and what I’ve gathered from others to further your exploitation of FPE in a shorter amount of time. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS MAY VARY.

Speaking of questions, below are a few frequently asked questions that I receive quite often:

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely not, and it's not expensive at all! The FPE line offers a variety of high-quality products and sheens, including:

  • Waterborne-build Universal Primer (UNI) and a high-build solvent-borne Alkyd Undercoated Primer. These primers are suitable for interior and exterior use and can be tinted to any color.
  • Acrylic interior wall paint, Eurolux, is available in satin, matte, and flat sheens. Extremely durable and can be tinted to any color.
  • ECO is a state-of-the-art, low-odor, water-twinable urethane alkyd emulsion for interior and exterior trim, doors, shutters, fascia, soffit, and wall paint. This modified product combines alkyd's durability with acrylic's flexibility. It can also be tinted in any color.

There are several other high-quality products in the FPE line as well. As for being "expensive," when applied correctly, they have about the same square foot application rates as most domestic "premium" comparable products.

There is no secret. The reason it's not widely shared online is that achieving an almost flawless finish requires understanding numerous variables. No one-size-fits-all formula addresses a good deal of equipment, applications, and environmental factors. This application is an art form and extends beyond the standard product specifications. It's akin to teaching someone to paint like Picasso or Rembrandt in one sitting, especially over the phone. This is why my in-person consultations can sometimes span up to three years. It depends on how deeply the user wants to delve into the various sales and application processes. Whether it's one consultation or three years' worth, the choice is yours.

Legal liabilities restrict them from discussing anything beyond the manufacturer's intended use. It's common sense once you consider it. If you seek manufacturer specifications (which can yield beautiful results independently), consult FPE. I'm your go-to person if you want insights from my experiences working beyond those specifications.

No, the majority of long-term profits are generated through the use of UNI or Alkyd Undercoated primers, Eurolux, and ECO. Note: Once your customers have experienced the beauty of these three/four products, upselling Hollandlac becomes much more accessible. It's not the other way around.

My one-day in-person consultation is priced at a flat rate of $3000 for 1 day and $1500 more for a 2nd consecutive day only. You are responsible for providing the necessary materials, sundries, and equipment for the training session. Consultations typically occur at your shop or preferred location. Additionally, I cover all travel and lodging expenses incurred for my training when booking 30 days or more in advance anywhere in the Continental United States.

The real question is, why does that seem so cheap? With the correct information and diligent application, what could be your potential? It's entirely up to you.
